Emily Huston named as Young Professionals Representative
We are pleased to announce that Emily Huston, athletic trainer at Monroe Catholic High School, has been selected as our new Young Professional Representative! Emily will be attending the YP portion of the NWATA annual meeting as a member of the panel. Congrats Emily! You will make an excellent addition to the YP team.
Monroe Catholic earns an NATA Safe Sports School 1st Team Award
Emily Huston and the sports medicine team at Monroe Catholic High School have been recognized as an NATA 1st Team Safe Sports School! This is a monumental achievement for the Monroe Catholic team, and this award is an incredible honor for all involved. To receive this award, a school must meet and maintain many different requirements. Monroe Catholic is the first school in the Fairbanks area to receive the award, and only the second in the state of Alaska, joining Chugiak High School (who received the award in 2018).
